FOUNDER

Dr. Armstrong graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and completed an equine medicine and surgery internship at Humphrey, Giacopuzzi & Associates, where she remained as an associate for four years. She founded Shoreline Equine in 2002 to focus on advanced reproductive care and general equine medicine. Outside the clinic, she enjoys yoga, hiking in Ojai, and time with her kids, Lily and Fin.

HEAD TECHNICIAN

Sharon is a Registered Veterinary Technician and a graduate of Pierce College, where she now teaches Equine Radiology. She also holds advanced training in equine anesthesia from the UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. When she’s not in the clinic, Sharon can be found on her ranch in Moorpark, raising horses and cattle with her husband, Norm, and team roping most weekends.

TECHNICIAN

Dannielle Hargrove is a lifelong resident of Ventura County, holding degrees from Moorpark and Pierce Colleges. She’s worked in equine hospitals for over 25 years and now anchors daily care at Shoreline Equine. From patient care to anesthesia, Dannielle does it all. She and her husband Chris love RVing and beach camping with their growing family, including kids Nicolas and Annabelle and a new daughter-in-law.

OFFICE MANAGER

Lisa brings a background in business management and finance, along with a lifelong love of animals, to her role as Accounting Manager. A skilled organizer with an eye for detail. Growing up in Ojai on a farm and a lifelong equestrian, Lisa is equally at home behind the desk or lending a hand in the lab or out in the field.
